Honda still has not accounted for a defective batch of parts.

Short of recalling all of them I doubt we will ever know the extent......

 

Wonder why they are recalling the bags from the 01 Accords but not the 01 CLs.

 

i was at the dealer yesterday they told me about recall but they couldnt do it because i have RSX airbag

 

The dealer in my area told me about this recall months ago this recall started for our cars back in April the recent announcement was just adding more models of Honda/Acura cars.

 

I got an email about something like this last week but deleted it by accident and haven't been able to find it lol

 

I dropped mine off at the dealer today since I read about this recall and had to bring it there anyways for my two front seat belts. The work order says they removed the air bag and checked the serial number. It also says installed two new bolts for it. I guess everything was fine when they inspected it, because it's still the original one. They had to order both the seat belts since they weren't in stock but it's covered under the lifetime warranty so I'm happy lol.

I need to get my driver's side buckle replaced still but I'm too lazy. Maybe I'll go in a couple weeks. Did you get them to give you a loaner?

 

I got mine checked yesterday. They even gave me a 2012 TL as a loner for the day.

 

I have 2001 CLS, how come they are not impacted?

 

Lol I had both my buckles replaced in my old 02 cl-p, it was covered under the lifetime warranty also. Which is my brother's car now. Yes they gave me a loaner it was a 2010 4cyl tsx.
