You should be fine, just use goo gone once the emblems are off to remove any of the excess glue. Then wash the area and use a clay bar to remove any imperfections, then seal it all with your favorite wax. If there is a problem with discoloration, simply replace the emblems.

Of the three white cars I have debadges only one really had any color difference that stayed, but it was 91 caprice. My half bro's 95 Chystler had a slight color difference, but it faded out after about a week in the sun, and you can not see it at all now. My friend 99 maxima had no color issue at.

just take it slow and if worst comes to worst, you can just put them back on ^^ as said above.

You should be fine. I would take off the ones in the top corner first and see if there is a difference.

Either dental floss or fishing line works wells. I didn't use a heat gun or a blow drier and they came off pretty easily in ~60deg. weather.

I think general consensus says Acura uses crappy paint though?

Anyway, when I first debadged I could still clearly see A C U R A on the back, but I gave it about a month and it faded away. I can't tell where the letters used to be to this day.

CL's are known for their bad paint and it chips like crazy

debadging hasn't been a problem for most people though. I think if its any color that would be least affected by fading it would be TW or like SSM or something

I didn't know if I should start a new post for this but I was wondering if you would be able to tell the color difference on a dark blue cl or would it be the same as if I just did the same advice? Thanks

possibly. what do you have, an '03 CL-pee?
I can't tell if its ABP or EBP from your avatar, but my advice would be that if you do decide to debadge, start off small, maybe taking off the 3.2CL just to see first if it faded, then move on from there
