Debadge question

So I was wondering what the best way to do a partial debadge it...How to get the letters off (the 3.2 CL ones) and how to get the glue off???

Thanks!

Use a blow dryer on HOT to warm up the letters and the 3.2 cl and then use dental floss underneath the letters to peel them off, they come off very very quickly and smoothly. Then just use youre fingernail plus a lil bit of goo gone on a cotton towel and WA LA, no more emblems. I did it on my CL about 2 weeks ago, when i got my CL. No problems at all, and it took me all of about 4 minutes. Good Luck

I wouldn't even attempt it without the goo gone, I got the letters off fine, but I got blisters trying to rub the extra glue of the paint. So I got some goo gone and the glue came off with 20 sec of rubbing.

Goo Gone, and then use a good carnuba wax to get the shadows of the letters off your car.

However, after that, use Zaino and your car will be perfect

I took my letters off the other day, technically someone stole my type s badge, so i just took off the rest of the letters. But goo gone didn't make it as easy as i thought it would be, i was mostly using my nails and some got on my car and i immediately washed it but it looks messed up now, i just need to wax it though when i get my zaino in.

Fishing line (25lb test) and Goo Gone is the answer.

I just debadged using a hair dyer, goo gone, and then clayed and waxed the car with Zaino. Everyone that looks at it can't even tell the letters where ever there.

Mine came off pretty easy with just floss and a bit of fingernail rubbing, but I was left with a visible outline of the removed letters. The outlines were because the paint around the badges had been scratched a little bit, so it kind of looked like a pencil rubbing of the letters. A little 3M scratch remover fixed the outlines, though.
