I got a job in Mexico city last year .I tryed to sell my cl before my trip but i coudn´t so i decided to ship my car to Mexico . Acura came to Mexico in 2005 , so there is no CL . I waited for 5 month and finally i got my car yesturday . It was in very bad condition , very dirty , alarm controls, flor mats , s type emblem missing ...anyway i took the car to the car wash , imagine 200 bucks for the full service ( 8 month no wash) and it took the 7 hours to make my car smile again. To make the story short ....there is MB, BMW , AUDI everywhere in the city ..........but CL is AMAZING LOOKING AND DRIVING ( MODS INCL) CAR!!! I drove 5 hours from Veracruz to Mexico city and everywhere i stopped people like what car is it? ,,so for those who forgot for a sec ...BE PROUD CL IS THE BEST .....!!!!

 

nice job man. i dont know about the best but its damn unique. ive had many compliments on mine. i even had a guy tell me "nice tl" haha i had to laugh in his face. but you gotta be proud to have to only car like yours in town. must be like owning a skyline here.

 

Thats what happen to my car. My cousin took my car to shop to get quote, but he wasnt sure about the year. and he said 2000, which the CL doesnt exist. The tech guy kept on saying it is a TL, and quoted my car under TL.

 

Crazy story man and congrats on finally getting her back. I'm glad I bought this car knowing that it would be rare to see. I've had people ask me if it's a Pontiac.

 

Also have been accused of driving a TL -- was at the drive through the other day and the kid stared and said "This is a niiiice car"

I said "thank you"

And he replied "is this a TL?"

 

man some girl the other day asked me if i was driving a supra...

 

Im glad to see her again.A lot of complimens.....I will take the pictures one day , it is 1st cl so far in Mexico city. 24 million people city. Thanks guys
