Dealer Service - Options I can take

First, I want to give the to Bell Acura for their great service. Never have I been disappointed with their help and desire to solve any and all problems with my car!

I brought my car in yesterday to have the paint inspected by the Acura area rep and to have my rough idle looked at. Well, in regards to the paint, they did say that some of the blemishes (small dimples on trunk and top of car and some slight striping on the hood) are a bit excessive and abnormal. But these things are slight problems which basically I notice because I'm always washing and cleaning my car.

Well, they offered me the options listed above at the poll...what do you think I should do? If I repaint, I risk the body shop not doing a super job and later on I may regret it....nobody really notices those blemishes but me.

Help me....I just

Oh yeah, my color is Anthracite and I already have the spoiler, nose mask and mudguards. The striping and ghosting was seen on a couple other Anthracite CL/TL's on the lot, but some didn't have it.

The advisor offered me a wood steering wheel, but I think it looks really tacky with the interior (ebony w/ aluminum trim).

What do you think if I got the gold kit on my anthracite CL-S?

You guys have any other ideas?

What are the potential problems with getting it repainted? My dealer doesn't have a body shop, so they will probably be contracting it out to the local one which I think is pretty nice.

I can only get an Acura accessory. The don't even sell Comptech stuff there...so I didn't even bother asking.

I think I am leaning towards getting it repainted just because:
1) don't know if I'll be buying or trading in my CL-S in the near future (plan on keeping it until it croaks)
2) don't know if I'll be living in this area to cash in on the free service (15K or 30K)
3) I don't want to just take a cheap accessory when I can get one that is about $600 or $700 value (which I already have)...unless they are willing to give me more than 1 (I'm thinking like 5 accessories)

At least if they repaint, I won't have any of those annoying swirls on the trunk and I can start over with my Zaino.

Only risk is that they do a bad job and the paint isn't warrantied for life (against defects like cracking or developing bumps and stuff).

Bell acura , is who sold and installed my exhaust. They can definitely get u headers and mufflers at cost and free labor for
any installs . The metallic colors are hard to paint i see a lot of brand new cars that have splotchy paint esspecially silvers.
If they paint the top surfaces they will most likey still have to blend it in half way down the sides. Good Luck
