I took my car in yesterday for the 22.5k service and told the guy that my car had a shudder at 11k and they resurfaced the rotors. I told him that i was beginning to feel a slight shudder and to please check the TSB for brake problems. Anyway he said things looked good but they replaced my pads anyway with newer ones that handle heat better, which was the cause of the warping rotors. Just thought i'd mention this to all of you because you may get new pads at your next service. They also resurfaced the rotors again.

What the hell? Thats awesome. I did the exact same work as your yesterday, only i had to pay about $230 US, which is kind of acceptable i guess since its Acura dealership. Did they do this just out of courtesy? or its a new thing for the 2nd gens. I have a first gen.

The entire service was $111. They did it because i bought my car there and have done all my service there and they want you to be happy. With the TSB they get paid by Acura, so it's a good way to keep their customers happy.

my dealer did the same exact thing. Clinton acura---cept my car had less than 10k---I did warn hom about the TSB ahead of time...not sure if that had any influence...

My dealer tried to charge me at first...until I told them about the TSB. Assholes tried to take advantage of me. Thank God for this site.
