DC Sports Header Update

Hey guys. I talked an AEM employee at SEMA last week and I spoke with them about a number of topics, one being the CL/TL headers. I asked them about the gaskets and questioned their design with a 2 bolt flange and the problems with lack of a proper seal. They said they had recognized the problem and they will be re-designing the headers with a 3-bolt flange. Good to see they corrected the issue.

Should have told them to redesign them to fit the 6MT. Just make that 1 & have it fit all cars. If they are doing what they claim that would not have been much more work.

How hard is it to make a copy of the Comptechs, seriously? No R&D is needed, its a proven design and the new ones fit both 6MT and 5AT.

While you and I see that as an obvious conclusion you have to consider that DC Sports is not going to want to copy a competitor's product. They are going to have to slightly change design to make it their own design. I'm not saying that is the reason but if I were to guess I would assume that was it.
