Dask Kit Looks SWEET!

Just got my "blackwood" dask kit yesterday and installed it in an hours time....no problems whatsoever. This interior kit definetly adds alot of class and sportiness to the CL-S.....I recommend it to everyone with a CL-S and Blackwood trim.

I should have some pics after tomorrow so people can see. www.wooddash.com is where i found the kit..factory match blackwood trim specially desinged for the Type-S wood. They dont offer a picture there but they do offer a layout of what comes with the kit..a total of 18 to 19 pieces, depending on if you have the navigation or not.. Looks great though. Take a look at the site. Let me know if i can help in anyway.

I hope the dash kit from this company is better than the one from www.woodtrim.com.

I bought one there, and I have to say, it looked horrible. I also have the black wood in my car. The kit that they sent me looked like it matched when it was in the box. But once I put it next to the exisiting wood, it didn't even come close to matching. Thus....I ended up returning it.

I am waiting for you to post the pics so that I can see what this kit matches the existing wood.

Yes post some pics.

Is that the kit that sells for $240?
A bit cheaper is the OEM kit found over at Tims @ http://www.autocarparts.com.
I think its $219.

I bought a wood kit from them and it looks sweet. It's real wood, and it matches the factory wood almost 100%!! Of course we have different models and wood, but from what I received from them, I love it!!

Does it stick on with some double sided tape or what? Can you take it off if you want or would it screw up the underside?

Thanks,

The kit comes in 19 pieces..each cut to fit perfectly in place. You have to clean the surface then apply an adhesion promoter that they supply. Then, once you know where you want everything to go..you remove the backing on each piece and apply carefully. It should only take an hour to 1.5 hours TOPS!!...thats only because at first you are trying to be carefully not to mess up bbut you get the hang of it quickly.

What do you think about the pics???
Give me some feedback.
You have to type the links into your address bar..cant just click on them.

Good Job.

The only thing thats keeping me from buying that kit is the section under your defroster buttons (non-Navi version). There is no "wood" piece in there.
