Hi,

I found the rattle coming from the DASH. It is not in the dash (near the passenger air bag--it's not INTERAL but EXTERNAL).

Looked inside the engine compartment..and I found a bundle of coiled wires with that orange plug/mount attachment on its side...it came off the mounting point. I dunno where that point is but I do know that the bundle of wires is now lying on top of the metal body chassis...I pushed it with a long yard ruler stick and it made a rattle sound that when heard from inside the car, it was identified to be the same mysterious rattle.

The only problem is that I cannot stick my hand anywhere near that bundle of wires to remount it. It's directly underneath the FUSE BOX located in the engine compartment.

Can someone kind enough please instruct me on how to remove the FUSE BOX in the engine compartment? I removed one visible 10mm screw holding the black box down..but it doesn't seem to want to come off its mounting point(s). I cannot visibly see what is holding that box down!

Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance!

Why not let the dealer deal with this now that you have found the source of the rattle?

NO one knows how to remove the FUSE box on the passenger side in the engine compartment??? It seems so easy yet so difficult to remove..I have a fear factor of breaking something plastic.

If no one knows how to, then shit, might as well bring it to the fucking dealer so that they can fuck the car up more. This car is really garbage...gotta buy euro next time I shop for a new car.
