to a 6-speed Aegean Blue non-navi CL. I have 39,000 miles on my '01 now and he said there are special lease rates on CL's that end today month end. I'm really considering but am wondering if it's too good to be true. .
What do I do??

I'm still concerned about the dealer saying the deal ends today because of month end. Sounds fishy to me. .

Speed racer, I am in the same position. The keep telling me today is the last day for the special 39 month lease rates. I don't know if I buy it either. I asked if I could go to 42 months and they said it would only be a $2 diff. per month due to the money factor rates.

I just got off the phone with them and am trying to have them throw in Navigation. :P He's looking into it. . . They must be desperate to unload these. . .

Probably because if he sells a certain number of cars in Oct. he gets a higher "holdback" or rebate for his efforts per car. Sell less than your quota and the rebate to the dealer is not so good. He must be close as he's getting liberal with deals to "get over the hump" IMO.

Cost Drivers!!!!
October is a KEY month for car sales. Last year we nearly robbed the guy blind when getting my moms accord. Like Chuck said the more cars they sell this month the more of an allotment they get for next year.

Holy crap 585!!!
A big nut to make on a car each month along with insurance. Got 39K on my 01 CL S.. Time for the 6 speed while my 01 is still under warranty and the tires are original... I think the dealers allow like 19K on a trade like mine.

Sucks, but now I'm really happy. I wanted a stick shift back in 2000 but Acura said they would NOT make one. This time I'm sticking it out through the whole term. . . No matter what my wife thinks. . .

Soopa, you should trade your car in on a 6 speed!

well it might be easier to get a new wife vs. a new car next time...LOL... just make sure you get to keep the car....
You guys putting all the addons in lease cars. Isn't there some sort of agreement that says you cannot screw around with the standard equipment...
I got to the point where I paid cash for the car and then upgrade every couple of years. If you drive like 20 K a year expect to pay like 10,000 every couple of years to ugrade to the newer model. Of course you only pay for oil changes.
I was in looking to get an 03 but I cannot see paying 10K for a stick without more torque from the engine.
Might end up moving to the S4...

Happy Happy Joy Joy!
You guys that upgraded from '01/'02 saying how nice the 6 speed '03s are were right on the money. I love it!! The power delivery is awesome and I can't wait to light her up. I've already got 150 miles just from yesterday. I was driving all over the place getting used to the clutch and the navi. I kept finding myself checking if I was in 6th or 4th. . It's been almost 3 years since driving a manual. I too was hesitant to test drive the '03 in the past because I knew I would have been hooked. If I drove this earlier in the year I wouldn't have left the dealership without it.
The only problem so far is the center console doesn't latch correctly sometimes. Didn't notice that at the delivery inspection. No biggie, I'll have them fix that when I bring her in for an oil change.
Time for the mods. . .
