Either way, i just found it funny that i started with weight comparison and then it goes into racing in a few posts...

Sorry to burst everyone's bubbles but stock LS1s do run low 13s, with a mid sized cam upgrade along with full exhaust and a lid, you're looking around 340-370rwhp and that's good enough for low 12s, high 11s with a decent driver. So with a cat-back, yeah LS1s run 12.8-13.0 depending on the driver all day long.
Yes we're comparing straight line muscle vs luxury/comfort/some speed, but making the claim that his highly modded CL-S runs with LS1s all day long is just false. Here are just one timeslip:
Right lane, ran 12.6 with lid, intake, exhaust, and 3500stall.
Point is, enjoy that we have a smooth, quiet luxury ride that has some speed, but do not start comparing apples and oranges. LS1 is completely out of our league as our most modded cars run even with an LS1 car with $750 of mods.

if these two slips occured at the exact same time everyone there would have been looking at a great drag race with the L coming out on top...try counting from 1 to 10 in one second...he beat me by about 5 of those counts, remembering i took a .15 lead of the bat

How did some of you tools go from Him saying it would TAKE those mods to beat him to him being able to run and beat them with those mods?? He never said he would take a a camed and modded LS1. Quit comparing modded ones. He said STOCK.

Haha that's hilarious. I could put a timeslip up there that shows a 12 second run and claim it's my car. There's just no proof behind any claims unless both cars were at the same track under the same conditions. I think everyone can agree up untill now, that NOBODY in "tropical conditions" (high humidity and high temperatures) has seen a Trans Am with JUST a catback run 12.8s all day long. Anybody? I'm assuming not since no one has spoken up yet...
