Import store is in southern california, i paid about 170 + shipping i believe. you could probably get it cheaper in the balck market here but i was stupid an impatient and wanted it right away (or so i thought).

Dude.. you posted almost the exact same topic yesterday. Why not just contact them?

http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...ghlight=import

BTW, just so you know... AEM can be a pain sometimes with intake orders. They don't drop ship.. so if a store is out of stock it can take up to 2 weeks for you to get it b/c AEM has to ship to the store first, then out to you. We go through this many times, however, we typically let the person know right away how long it may take. Our website even lists the shipping time just in case.

AEM V2

Did you guys know that the AEM V2 is now available for our cars - jsut a few weeks ago.

I got quoted $320.

2 1/4" vs 3" and double the hp increase due to additional chambers, so the AEM tech said.

Actually the Icebox is 3-4hp/1-2lb-ft. more and it doesn't have the same hydrolock worries. I'd rather have performance and peace of mind than sound.

Sound gets you in trouble. All the ricers around here get harrased by the cops. If your car is nice, quiet, and you don't do really really stupid stuff - you can run around just fine, they won't even bother you for 5% tint, but they will go out of their way to give a ricer with a fartcan a ticket for 20%.

intake is only when u get on it, doesnt even come close to sounding liek a ricer. AEM V2 will give double the horspower and its out, fuck!

Yea, well I get on it alot. Who says the V2 is double? All i've seen is 1-2 more than the standard, plus the same hydrolock worries.
