Did anyone ever had a custom headers for the CLS?

What was the result? dyno numbers and cost?

 

I don't think anyone has gotten custom headers made yet. I believe it's still just Comptech or nothing.

 

I email this guy at prototyperacing about another source for headers, but he was just selling the tooling to make CL/TL headers. Here's his two responces (edited):

I havn't actually crawled under a CL-S to check, but from what my friends at Honda say, the engine bay on the TL & CL-S are the same. So, if we can trust the engineers at American Honda, the answer is yes. Keep in mind, however, that I'm presently trying to sell the fixtures and tooling I designed and built to someone who's interested in doing the manufacturing, Not selling the headers themselves.

If nobody buys the tooling within probably 6 mos. I'll more than likely do the production myself. I've got all my money tied up in 2 patents I'm working on right now. All the e-mail I get goes into a folder, so when something happens I'll let you all know. Since I already know what my production costs are, I know for sure that
Comptech is ripping you guys off BIG TIME! I can easily come in elow their price.
