I would but it will cost a few hundred more in parts and more labor. My new setup will be plenty enough for my goals. There's only a couple more little things I want to do performance wise then I'm finished.
That would be my boy Shawn Ramey he owns a local shop called rameybuilt.com check out some of his work!
Me either I will keep posting pictures in my build thread. I would guess it's going to take at least a week to get the headers ceramic coated. Thank you!

Do it!!! I'm pretty much on hold until I get the headers back from the coaters. Once I have those will have to figure out all the materials and wait for those to come in also. So mine won't be finished for a little while.

I picked the headers up today from getting ceramic coated, they turned out great! These cell phone pictures don't do justice. Enjoy!

Like streetka said they will pretty much stay the same. The main thing is to not have any oil on them once they get hot.

That bend for the rear cylinder bank is way too sharp.

Were going to do a completely different design compared to yours rush and the stock j pipe.
There both going to come down and merge further back with a ss collector. Here's a link for reference.

I was looking at a bunch of pictures of they're work. They look like nice quality.

All motor
Nice idea. Why didn't you just start from scratch though?
A nice set of headers with much longer primaries (than Comptech) and a real merge collector would do very well, especially when coupled with a 3in exhaust. What are your plans for the collector?

I got a very good deal on a set of used comtech headers and j pipe so I couldn't pass that up. When we had the car on the lift theirs really not much room to work with to build a completely new set of long tube headers. I didn't even want to deal with making a completely new set since all I have is bolt on's and I'm not looking to making every little hp. We just decided to modify the comptechs since it will be easier. A few posts back I posted a link to which style merge collector were going use or maybe even a custom one.
