Custom Billet Throttle Body

So... I decided that boring out my stock TB wasn't going to be good enough, so I rigged a custom billet aluminum TB. It's a tad over 6mm bigger...

I installed it and it immediately made quite a big difference. However, I am waiting on the intake-manifold... so I didn't port the inlet of my stock manifold. I have no idea about hp gains... but it definately feels stronger from 5K to 7K. I think with the intake manifold... I expect 10-15whp at the minimum.

Some added notes:

(1) No more cruise-control
(2) No more IAC (Idle Air Control) - this poses a little problem which I haven't resolved yet, but more on that later
(3) Doesn't quite idle perfect (in addition to the IAC issue)... working on this as well

Another note:

If this poses a big problem for driveability... I will use this TB only for the track - its a 5min job to swap them out, so its not any harder than changing tires, for example.

Nobody makes one for the CL-S... and I know the guy who knows the guy who makes them for several speed shops. If he made one absolutely one-off... meaning it will fit perfectly and have AIC/cruise-control... its upwards of $500.

Loosely based on the accord V6... else its very expensive to have it CNC'd from scratch!

Stock TB can go about 3-something mm-over MAX! Ours are relatively thinner than usual B-series or H-series motors...

With more air coming in, did the ECU have problems adjusting the air/fuel ratio so you get a smooth acceleration? or do you think if you get a VAFC(?) would help?

a lot of times just unplugging the battery overnight helps reset the ECU, that may just be a rumor but when i did that i noticed a lil difference
