Cusco Strut bar & Lower Arm bar...

So, I don't really have much left to do to my car other than FI and ive been reading up on threads regarding strut bars, but I want to now ur guys opinion. Is it worth getting a strut bar and a lower arm bar? If so, I was looking at Cusco, but I know the main diff. is felt from the sway bars. Will the addition of a strut and lower arm make a big difference?

I have the strut tower brace and the lower subframe brace on my CL-S 6. A difference is noticeable if the is driven hard into corners, as long as the car is lowered a bit. It is a beneficial difference over the stock, and reduced body flex is noticeable as well.

Besides... It looks good!!

I'd say get 'em! I think Cusco makes 'em for the rear as well, but not sure...

IIRC, some people had fitment issues with CT headers and this?

Some car washes will not let you enter with the lower bar... if you use them at all.
Sway bars are effective, and will not scrape under most lowered conditions.

Are you serious? I'm a manager at a full service carwash... I never check under cars for lower bars. I can warn customers that their cars may be too low (which is rare my old Civic cleared) or maybe their front lip hangs too low but we never check for lower bars. We or any other carwash (or so I thought) does not claim responsibility for aftermarket parts.

Wonder if these'll clear XS headers also?? Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of getting the headers in the near future & damn budget only permits the XS ones...

it did...the Dew can you see was knocked over by the bar...I lol'ed when I heard it fall over.

I did take my car through the car wash many times and I never scraped...Brown Bear is the best place to go through!

I had Megan headers installed...same design as XS and Comptech.

good to know, but the only problem is that frisco has alot of hills and bumps, etc. so I'd have to be cautious

i think at my current ride height, the dew wouldn't even make it past my front bumper, let alone that lower tie bar.

Hiya Kris: You happen to know if there's a manufacturer that we can get rear upper strut bars from? I found someone on the BM before that had one for sale, but forgot to make a note of the brand....

^ no one makes a rear upper strut for our cars.

J's racing made a bar for the accords, but IIRC shinybluecls tried that out back in the day, and it didn't fit.

anyone got pics of the cusco strut? I just had my coils installed so I want to see where its mounted. Would the strut be an easy DIY?

cusco upper strut is an uber easy DIY. it's located where the stock strut is located.

i dont think the lower strut would be practical for sf b/c my is already lowered and w/ all the hills and potholes, that strut would get torn up
