CT Sways & Icebox installed today at PAA ....

Anyone waiting to do the Comptech Icebox or Sway Bar set should do it if they have the $$$ and want to make a decent car even better. First the Sways : Wasn't expecting much but I am impressed ! feels alot more 'together' now and more sure footed , combined with the CT springs this is a great thing. The icebox : Since I have read that it takes a few start up/shut down cycles for the brain to adjust to it, I will only say that during the ride back (about 30 miles) the engine feels smoother and better, but just hard to describe. I just drilled about ten holes through the plastic of the non-existant foglight , so let' see if that gives some more fresh air into the Icebox tube just behind it. As far as the sound goes ...damn it sounds quieter than stock, but I could be really wrong about that since the drive back was in NYC most of the way. Side note about PAA again....anyone needs any type of work done and can get there, do it it's worth it !!

Congrats on the mods man.

PAA has yet to dissapoint.

As far as the sound from the icebox goes, I think one you're able to do some high-speed highway driving you'll be able to hear the tone change. It’s not nearly as dramatic as the AEM CAI but you can definitely notice the difference. I know I did.

sweet man, i would love to see the difference with sways. But i also know that adding some gas shocks with springs makes the handling even better. I say you get some shocks when your ready

I can't wait to get my Comptech sways.

Do you guys think the Accord 6 speed's grill (fog light area) can be fitted onto the CL for better airflow? Its designed for increased airflow.

I went from an AEM, to an icebox, and now I have an icebox with a K&N filter. the AEM was balls out loud, the icebox was quiet, and now the icebox with K&N is the perfect in between. sounds more aggressive in VTEC but not quite as loud as the AEM.

BTW congrats on the install I go to PAA for everything they are great

How much?

6speedctrlfreak, how much did it cost to do both? I am looking for sways and an intake, and wonder what installation costs are from a good acura dealer.

Thanks Mattg! Always nice to see people whose post counts are from "quality" posts and not just "do a search" posts......

So the filter number changes when you install the icebox? Obviously because of the different size, correct?

You will like the sound of the icebox more with the K&N Filter... makes a nice deep tone... not like the AEM, but a tad deeper, and a growl to it....
