I wanted to install them myself, I lubed up the rusty bolts with wd40 for a week prior to installation, then I got under the car and it was sooooooo damn rusted(glued) on, I learned the bad with with some bloddy knuckels!! I went over to my local muffler shop, he heated them up and bingo 20 mins later and $20 dollars later, I finally heard the rumble of the ct exhaust!! save yourself the agrivation and let the shop do it!

also use High heat resistant black paint, that is what I used, looks great!!

Liquid Wrench usually works on stubborn bolts.

as long as you dont strip the bolts then keep trying!

you could use a breaker bar to get more leverage and it it starts to become hopeless just take it to a shop...

I just installed my CT Exhaust last weekend with a friend. We used a long ratchet wrench to get the bolts off. Only one really had a problem. Only bad thing was that I didn't have any bolts to put onto the exhaust because I bought mine used and it didnt come with any ... so I had to run out to find 10mm bolts ... Took alot longer than it should have to install, but its on there now and it sounds great!
