Crank shaft sensor

has anyone ever had to replace theirs? mine is being done by acura under warranty, and it has been at the dealership for 2 weeks now. they said it's not a common problem and therefore the part is very difficult to find. they say they can't find one in Canada and have to source one out in the US and Japan.

anyone know anything about this part? i really f**kin miss my car.

wow, first time I've heard this problem. Did they give you a reason why it failed?

i haven't been given a proper answer as to why mine needs replacing, and they sound as if they don't know. i'm hoping someone on here knows more about it.

The flywheel kept eating it up due to pieces of the pressure-plate getting lodged new the pick-up points.
