Crank shaft leak update

Well if anyone remembers, about 3 weeks ago I had to bring the car in for a leak. I was told it was a crank shaft seal problem and that it would be a couple of days before she'd be ready. 3 weeks have passed and the car still sits at the dealer.

I was initially informed that the parts were on order and should be in during first week. Then told that part was back ordered. Then told part didn't make the last shipment. Finally after two and a half weeks I was told car would be ready the next day. I called and found out that the car wasn't ready, and in fact they had found ANOTHER leak. So at the dealer she sits.

The worst part about all this is that I HAD TO FUCKING CALL THE DEALER EVERY FRIDAY to get updated. Maybe I'm expecting too much but I figured it'd just be courteous to call your customers when things don't go as advertised.

Anyways had to rant. The last three weeks has me seriously considering the MB SLK32 AMG even more. With myy luck the engine would probably explode on the AMG anyways.

It seems odd that any part for the Type S needed (acutuator, brake parts, tranny parts, etc...) seems to all be back ordered. Not good for Honda's suppliers (or customers)!

Agreed. I'd think that since the CL is built here in the US and that we're based on the Accord that parts wouldn't be so difficult to find. I'm hoping its not due to the number of CLS that are already falling apart.

NO WAY! That engine is hand built. I'm looking into the C 32 myself.

Yeah, so I've read. I just wanted to throw a bone to our super zealous members. If I didn't mention it someone would've probably given me some story about how MB's always fall apart.
