Coolant Line Question when installing Icebox

So today i was installing a Icebox on a 01 CL-S, and when it came to what to do with the coolant line, and where to hook it up and which line to get rid of got very confusing in the comptech instructions, they suck real bad, does any have any pics of what it should look like when finished, I need help figuring out where im suppose to hook up the coolant/breather hoses, Where do I hook-up the 2 hoses that comptech supplied.. and I looked at a bunch of cars DIY, and that still didnt make it very clear..........Thanks

You reuse the coolant hose by looping it into position. The other two hoses you hook up accordingly.

Did you follow the existing hose lines before taking things apart?

Don't forget to bleed the air our of your coolant lines too since d/c the coolant line is necessary to finish the job.

Did you look at the instructions? There are included pictures.

Don't forget to bleed your coolant system after the install.

Here's a quick how-to that I posted before:
As the system is self bleeding you can do the following:
Now's also a good time to go out and buy a gallon of pre-mixed Honda Type II Coolant for topping off. It's nice to have a gallon in the garage anyway.

Well, I talked to him for awhile and we hit everysubject imagineable. It seems CT didn't give him the right length hoses with his Icebox. We couldn't figuer out why the primary breather hose "didn't seem right." It was a few inches too short!

Is it absolutely neccesary to disconnect the coolant hose for the install? Just go an icebox and plan on installing it some time this week.

That's odd. Don't they do any QA anymore?

It's part of a proper installation. The same holds true on other CAIs like AEM.

If you don't do it the line will run over the intake.

    Is that bad? Probably not.
Is is that big of a deal of an install? No.
