Converting 1/8 to 14 mile time? TYPE R?

I know type r typically runs on 1/8 mile tracks. Looks like i have to get used to it as well as the only track near Sandiego is 1/8.
How can you convert it to 1/4 time?
Ive noticed that my times are very consistent after the 1/8 mile, my 1/4 changes only cuz of the launch.

Although that isn't always 100% accurate, but that's the formula you'll find if you

I ran a 9.160 1/8th mile
On the same run I ran a 14.1 1/4 mile

Using that formula I should have ran a 14.5 1/4 mile.

well thanks for the info, but i just went down to the track. looks like they require a dot legal helmet at all times, regardless of what you run. plus they did alot more checks on the car that they dont do at regular tracks such as lacr.
so basically i ended up leaving without any runs, but at least i got my money back. 20 bucks to run is expensive for a track that is 1/8 and isnt permanent anyways.
supposedly it was setup to cure the street racing problem in san diego, but i think its more for the money for the city.

i doubt i will ever run there due to this stupid helmet thing, unless someone wants to lone me a helmet before i go!

That general multiplcation is way off for me, its saying I should run 14.8 in the 1/4 based on my 1/8th. I think its not accurate because the CL-S pulls much harder in the 2nd 1/8th more so than the first 1/8th mile. I think its able to take advantage of its higher rpm hp and make up for a crappy launch.
