Comptech Sways vs. Eibach Sways
Could someone tell me the difference in the proformance from the Comptech Sways vs. the Eibach Sways.
They are about the same price (within about $5.00). I already have the Eibach Pro Kit springs installed and I am wondering if it would benifit to use the same Sways.
Thanks in advance.

I was also thinking of getting the Eibachs. They have a bigger rear bar then the Comptech, which in turn means it will have more of a neutral cornering then the Comptech sways.

Here is the data:
Eibach: 27mm(front) 23mm(rear)
Comptech 27.2(front) 22mm(rear)
These are the specs. If the Eibach is a solid bar(can anyone verify this) That means the Eibachs would give more of a neutral effect then the Comptech, since the Comptech still understeers a bit.

I think that I will go with the Eibach Sways since I already have the Springs from them. I will let you know if they are solid when I get them.
Thanks for all your replys.

Cool. Give us some more info when you get them. will you be doing the install yourself? if so, do you mind writing a FAQ on it?
Thanks,
Spiro

I will be placing the order in the next day or so. And yes I will be doing the install myself. Writing the FAQ will be no problem at all....I'll be happy to do it. And also did the install on the Eibach Springs myself....if anyone has any questions let me know.

You may want to wait to place your order for Eibachs.
What follows is a response from Autocarparts.com to my request for additional information about the three brands of sways the have listed.
I then followed up asking the timeframe for when the newly redesigned Eibach sways would be available. They don't have that information yet.
I visited Eibachs web site. When you navigate to the CL-S sways, they indeed say that these are being redisigned.
Hope this helps.
<STRONG>We only have the numbers on the Comptech and Neuspeed sways as the Eibach
line is being redesigned at this time. Both are good choices and we sell
more Comptech as they specialize in only Honda/Acura products.
Comptech (Sold as a set)
Front 1-1/16" Tubular = 27 mm
Rear 7/8" Solid = 22mm mm
Neuspeed (sold individually)
Front 27 mm
Rear 19 mm
Rear (Race) 25 mm *for race use only, requires chassis reinforcement and no
warranty.

Here's the most important difference I can tell b/w the Eibach and the CompTech.
The Eibach come with new urethane bushings for the rear AND the front!!!
The CompTech ONLY come with new urethane bushings for the rear.
I'm trying to hold out for the Eibach springs but I don't know how long I can wait. After I have the sways installed the only real suspension component I'll be missing is an upper front strut bar.
