comptech strut doesn't fit ... what to do?

so I got a comptech titanium sway bar and it fits the mounts and all mint with no issues.. but I have P2R plenums and when u bolt it down it's touching just by a hair... but when u hit the gas the car vibrates... to the point i dun't want my car..

so i put my oem on back on and now I am at the dilema.

what should I do..

I'm thinking grind down the rear plenum 2-3mm and that will clear it...

I got my buddy to get in the car and rev it up and the motor barely moved.. so i think if i grinded the rear plenum it'll all work out.

what you guys think...

I am thinking of selling it by the way so I am up for offers

what about putting a washer under where it bolts to the suspension. That should raise it a mm or two.

but that's really close clearance.. so I raise it 2 washers say 2 mm... even still that's cutting it close!!
you pose a very good a quick solution. which may very well work.

I may grind off some material off the plenum and do what you said... if someone doesn't offer me what I paid for it

lol i thought of that already but I don't want to switch that all over... i like the plenum look... for the few hp or w/e is the difference it's not worth it. i'm gonna try and make it work or not...

The Comptech strut bar does not touch & I have the P2R thermal gasket between the manifold & engine so it's slightly taller.

Get a Neuspeed bar. Its widely known that the CT bar will hit the intake if youre running the P2R plenums or the manifold spacer.

wtf??? the comptech bar is EASY to install.. I put it on in under 30 mins including taking my old one off.

It's not hard at all.. it's the clearance..

and i thought about putting something in between the plenums and bar but there is literally no space.. like a sheet of paper wouldn't slide between.

like i said when it's installed the car resonates the entire motor!! it's fucked.

either a lot of work to make it work.or i sell it and move on... i'd ike to sell it if I get a decent offer.

Is the facotory strut bar any good at all ??
I have noticted a lot of ppls here with the Comptech/neuspeed and other AFM strut bar.

does it really make a significant diffeence compared to stock ??
Any advantages ?????

Chill, if you're going to sell it, take it to the BM. Sounds like this is a known issue with this strut brace, get the neuspeed like Morgan said.
