comptech springs vs eibach

i noticed that the eibachs lower the car more...i like that idea as the comptech drop isnt very substantial...anyone have any gripes with the eibachs?? i know everyone is all about comptech but the idea of a slightly bigger drop (and cheaper price) is enticing...thanks for any feedback guys!

i think the Comptech's are the all around winner since the ride isn't very intrusive, just enough to be noticeable, while the drop is conservative, so it's like u get the best of both worlds (the car is lowered, while the noise isn't substantial)

i have the H&R Sport springs and i personally think they are the perfect springs for the CL-S. the drop is level, no wheel gap afterwards, and H&R makes the cheapest springs available

I have the comptech springs. I am very satisfied with them. One major reason I chose Comptech is because the drop isn't too severe so that you dont need a camber correction kit. I don't want to wear my tires out unevenly.

if you are going for look only..the eibach drop looks better then the competch..period.

but the eibach drop is too stiff and harsh...i would recommand the competch..

btw..i have the eibach ones

In your opinion. Is it an even drop all around? If so it probably has that saggy-ass look to it that I don't like.

just get the H&Rs if you want more than the conservative Comptech drop.

I have the Eibachs and the ride is perfect for me. But I also have Tokico adjustables so that may be why. It is definitely more stiff than stock but nowhere near REAL sports car suspension. I think it may be because the car is so heavy. Also it's not an even drop and the ass end is not actually saggy. It's kind of an illusion because the rear tire well is cut lower than the front. If you look at the bottom of the car you can see the slight rake.

it's suppose to drop lower in the front..but my rear looks even lower...the wheel gap cant even fit one finger..it's really low..

I think the Comptech drop and rake are perfect, and the ride is not harsh. Every time i walk out and see the Red Rider in the parking lot with the lower front, i smile. The rake makes the car look aggressive

Personally, since i am in Canada its harder for me to ask for comptech for local shops, therefore i had a choice from Eibach and H&R. I first used Eibach and thought it was fine until my friends (who uses H&R) and said the ride was a bit bumpy compared to their rides with H&R. So i gave it a try and changed it too H&R and found that the ride was indeed better. Not only the ride was better i found H&R gave me a pretty good drop. So far i am using it for 5 days already and its perfectly fine with a drop leaving 1inch or less wheel gap. Between Eibach and H&R, i would now recommand H&R sports. If you ask me what the H&R race will do, I saw a TLS using it and give you a nice looking drop but too low for me. No gap at back about 1- 1 1/2 cm in fender. and about 1 cm gap at front.
