Comptech Springs + Konis

I'm about to order the Comptech springs and Koni Yellows. Two questions:

- I noticed the Konis now come with a height adjustment; if I'm just looking for the standard 1.25 - 1.5 inch drop from the springs, where should the height adjustment be set.
- What level of firmness should I use for the shocks; just hoping to avoid pulling the back seat to readjust later.
- Is there any advantage to doing the sways at the same time?

Thanks in advance

do the sways also...they'll help a lot...for Koni settings, that's purely up to you...if you don't want to bother with custom extensions, i'd suggest turning the rears one full turn...that way you will have not too stiff but not too soft either...it will be right down the middle...as far as where the Koni's are seated, i can't really help b/c i ordered mine through TireRack which has only 2 seat settings, and i used the first one since it won't affect car height...the second seat will a bit...the Koni/Neuspeed's have 5 adjustable heights, so maybe one of those guys can comment on this

best of luck and congrats on these mods!!!

I have mine set at 1 full turn all around. The ride is incredable! It's slightly stiffer than stock, but when pushed to the limits there is very little body roll. Also, after I installed the Koni's, the steering felt tighter as well...but that could just be my imagination

I got the Neuspeeds so I could fine tune the height but it was a waste of money because the Comptech drop is exactly what I wanted. It's a perfect drop if you want something sensible. I have the back set at 3/4 of a turn which seems about right. I would really like to make extensions because removing the back seat, (while not complicated at all) Sucks really bad. You'll see what I mean if you do the install yourself. Also be careful of the center console. It rips easily.

I'm gettin' tired of bouncin' around in my CT spring equipped whip w/ 18's. Will the Konis make my ride more tolerable?

With the Neuspeed Konis, isn't it true that if you adjust the height later, you should do another alignment? If that's the case, the Koni Yellows may just be good enough so you don't need to adjust ride height (if the CT drop is what you want).

From what I can see, the Koni Yellows are now height adjustable - am I looking at the wrong product? The CT drop is all I'm really looking for.

Won't be bouncy with the Konis but they are a little harsh over small bumps. Bilstien sports might be better if you want a nice ride with good control. I'm kind of curious how they compare. Konis are deffinitely good for handling.

Yes all Koni yellows are height adjustable but the Neuspeeds have more positions you can adjust them to and a shorter shaft which probably isn't necessary with comptech springs. The Comptech drop is just right IMO.
