I was curious how long my stock shock would last if I was using them with the Comptech Springs? Any help is greatly appreciated! Have a wonderful day!

 

I have heard around 50K...amybe more...maybe less

 

Hrmmm...thanks for the response! I also heard the stock shocks are gonna be a little more bouncy than the koni adjustables....question is...how much more bouncy?

 

Dont know...I dont have springs....yet I dont think its real bouncy...but I could be wrong.

 

your stock shocks will be fine with Comptechs.

wont be bouncy for many thousand miles.


ground control coil-overs on the other hand...

 

I have 22k miles on comptechs with stock shock, no bounce and no wear yet. Still rides fine it's but like going from gym shoes to Nike's.

Member have said 15k, things got bouncy, others have no problems. Comptech says 50k.

Too many factors to know how long the stocks will last on YOUR car.


If your drive aggressively or in the city, I would say 15-20k.
