Comptech S/C Vibration

With the Comptech S/C on my 6-Speed, I feel a slight vibration through the gas pedal starting around 4500 RPMs. It gets a bit stronger around 5000 RPMs but doesn't get any worse as the RPMs climb. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal or a problem?

When I first had the kit installed, the vibration was very bad. I made a few adjustments to the mounting and now the vibration is very slight. But it is still present. Any thoughts?

Nope, no problem. I would look at how the main bracket is bolted up. Adjust the take-up screw to see if the vibration changes.

I'd check the pass-side motor mount as well.

I still have that vibration. Doesn't happen everytime, so I haven't tried to do anything with it yet.

When my SC was first installed, i experienced no harmonic vibration or watever you want to call it. I did notice just about a week ago i was experiencing the vibration at about 3-3200 rpm. i just ignored it, but now i picking up more of the vibration at higher rpm's that seem more pronouned.

what did comptech say it was or did they? i just thought it was the characteristics of the blower, but now i'm not so sure.

My S/C chimes in the last 1500rpm or so. RedRider drove my car at the meet and said he didn't really notice it. I guess the fact that it isn't always repeatable has me lost. Maybe every once in a while my car makes SOOOOO much power that the S/C is on the verge of imploding.
