yeah and not only that he cant get his story straight said it was the part number for just the premuim cl but i asked if it would fit a type s and he said it would and he said it was on his 6 speed right now so i dont plan on buying it from someone who obiviously has no idea what they are talking about

 

It is my auction and there is only 2 model numbers for the icebox. I had it on my six speed and it fit fine

One model number is for the six speed and the other is for auto it will also fit an accord v6, hence the same model number

If you search a little bit, people have put this icebox in their six speed with little to no problem. So now obviously you have no idea what your talking about

comptech removed the model for the type s from their website if you were to look at any of the other posts on ebay they all specify that they do not fit a type s the model Icebox Cold Air Intake (01-03 CL)

lets see I had this on my type s and it fit fine and it was a six speed. How do you explain that if it fit perfectly fine on my car?

 

i was thinking about this also, since the throttle body configuration is quite que same on CL-P and CLS-6. but didn't want to pay for the CL-P icebox to find out later it might doesn't fit.

my second option lately has been about fitting the 07 TL oem air intake system (it's different and has a very sweet sound !), but the battery is in the way (might not be a problem if i relocate it in the trunk though)

 

look i just took the info off of comptechs website if you took the time to read on the install/tech section of comptechs website you would have realized that their is a link for cl/tl ,cl/tl type s, and cls-6 not only that but on all the ebay auction that are selling iceboxes for cl/tl they specify that they will not fit a type s since obiviously you cant look here are the links http://www.comptechusa.com/instructions.htm

what kind of proof do you need that it does fit the type s. I put it on my type-s with no problem at all. All I needed to modify was the plastic which involve cutting for proper fitament. I know it fits a type s because I have one and It fit fine. Those links are fine and believe what you want to believe, however it fit my car fine
