Comptech Icebox
ive been looking around and from what i understand comptech is closing so i wanted to get an icebox air intake for my cl i have a 2001 type s and can only find the ice box for an 03 manual and 01-03 non type s ive looked on ebay and thats where i found those if any one know if you can fit one of those on a 01 type s then i will get one of them. I really wanted an icebox because i would like the power but without the riceburner sound i like a deep throaty exhaust sound.

Check with our vendors.

I checked a few vendors this past week and no one has had any in stock (03 CL-S 6spd), nor were they able to order any. I finally found one on ebay and purchased it. They also had a set for an Auto CL that should still be available, btw..

thats not a bad idea for most but i took my resonator off and put the cover and wheel back on and the car made an extremely wierd humming noice which i could not stand so i drilled a few 1/4 holes in the resonator to open up the air flow a bit and put it back on and now the noice is gone
