Comptech Header Gasket Question...

I just got a set of used Comptech headers for the 6 speed. It came with everything but the 3 2 1/4" compression gaskets. Are the ones in the kit special for the headers? Or can I get any 2 1/4" gaskets from a parts store? If these are special, would Comptech send me a set for free?
Also I never saw how small these headers are. They are TINY. They look big in all the pics I have seen. How could such small pieces of metal cost so much, & get such impressive gains?

They are specifically sized for the headers .However there are seals at the dealer that can be coaxed to work .If they do not have them a call to Comptech will get you a set off gaskets but I seriously doubt they would gove them up for free .But I do not think we are talking any large sum of money .I would personally go fot the CT gaskets only to avoid leaks which are a hassle .Jens
