Nice nice. Comptech Exhaust is the best for a CL/TL IMO. You got the Axel-back I'm guessing. The low tone it gives off makes it sound mean and flooring it with a CAI (V2) is the best combo unless you've got headers can't beat that.

The stock CL type S exhaust is already so high flow that the only difference perceived from adding an aftermarket exhaust, is the sound. A dyno may show 2, or 3 WHP gain MAX. Nothing even worth mentioning.
The only time exhaust will make a difference on a CL-S is with forced induction.

that is EXACTLY why I don't want to get exhaust...it's not worth spending the cash. Plus, I get annoyed of the sound at times. For example, when you're taking a long drive and just want to relax, but you have that damn sound rumbling in the back of your ears.
is all that I can think.
But when you're in the mood, exhaust is SO worth it!

I can honestly tell you, I've taken MANY long drives, especially just wanting to relax. It BY FAR is not "rumbling" in the back of your ears. If anything, it is a light, low sound. Honestly, after like a month with the exhaust, you TOTALLY block it out. I don't even hear it anymore. The only time you really would hear it is if you drive with the windows up and radio off. But its not even loud enough to disturb a convo between you and a passenger.
Driving with the radio on, windows down, etc, you dont hear the drone.
Oh and as far as being in the mood .. when you have the exhaust, you get in that mood more often, if that makes any sense. The compliments outweigh the negatives. I've had people tell me that it sounds like a forumula race car, a porsche, etc .. never met someone who didnt like the sound. Even had one chick tell me her favorite thing about my car is the sound ...

I'm so used to controlling the sound via the throttle I can all but eliminate it in most instances. Coupled with the fact that I’m used to it, the droning is a non-issue.
