My Bad....i've just found a couple...just not looking hard enough. From the clips, it seems like the CT exhaust is pretty quite (not annoying), even less annoying than the Magnaflow clip that i listened to the other day. Could someone confirm this?

I'm thinking on getting just the axleback..since our system is free flowing already

So, if someone could confirm that CT exhaust is quiter than magnaflow, that would be great

i am pretty sure that CT is louder than M/F i have the magnaflow axel back 14832's and they are barely noticible... when i heard the CT's at a meet they seemed louder... maybe it is because they had a CAT back and i just have axcel back???

Thanks for your input bluglows. Anybody else compares axleback comptech with magnaflow axleback? which one is louder?

My plan is to get the one that is less loud.

Also, has anybody install Borla axleback on CL-S? (with custom piping of course). If there is, could you please put some sound clip on the site?

Well...i'm still not sure if it's annoying or not..... all i heard is sound clip, not in real person...which usually makes a big difference...I just don't want this annoying drone on highway...

I have a friend with somekind of muffer (got it off ebay...some knock off brand), and put in on his chevy cavalier...i know i can't really compare this, but man....i was in his car for about 10 min....i can't hear a thing by the time we got to where we're going...

Anyways, I know Borla system on Nissan Z sounds cool yet very quite....i was just wondering if their universal muffler will sound the same on other V6 N/A engine...

bro I hate to break it to ya, but it's exhaust. It's gonna have at least some type of drone to it. I am on the highway 2 hrs of my day (45 miles), so I have plenty of backup in saying my magnaflows are pretty quiet inside the car. With the windows down, it isnt even that bad.

Thanks for your input.....on your magnaflow, when you do the custom piping, what size of pipe do you use?..is it 2.25"??...i just want it keep it stock size to avoid any backpressure loss..

THanks

I only did the axleback, so everything else is still stock piping.

Hate to bump... but does anyone know how much louder the exhaust is with b-pipe as opposed to having just the axleback? (comptechs)

I can't hear the vids, so I don't remember what comptechs sound like :*(

yup,
I'm going that route. Just drop my car at the shop tonight, and should be done tommorow afternoon. It's custom axleback with madrel bent pipe (2" = stock size pipe) and #14832 mufflers. Can't wait till it's done...

Yea they really sound great...I think its the best exhaust for our cars that I have ever heard. And no it does not sound like a civic or ricy. It has a steady deep tone. Down side...you need a CAT simulator to keep that CEL from going off.
