I love the Comptech exhausts. It really completes the car and makes it sound like it has 260hp...... one of the best mods I ever did!!

Yes, I love the sound of the exhaust. Especially when VTEC engages, nearby driver's are instantly aware that something strange their way comes.

I too will be adding a CT exhaust soon, probably this time next month. I'll also be adding the b-pipe went it becomes available. It's adds a little accent' to the exhaust note, slightly deeper sound - I know, I road in the CT proto CLS earlier this month.

And yes, seriously considering the UNICHIP for remapping the ECU... adding a few more ponies and flattening out the power curve...

Can't want...

I love it too!! Thanks to mattg for the hookup!

The only negative thing I might add is that I'm spending more $$ on gas now because I just SS more now...

I can't stand how D5 shifts the car now because of the exhaust... (D5 likes to keep the car right at that RPM where the exhaust makes that deep, DEEP tone.. got annoying real fast)

But driving in SS is all good.

CompTech claims 4-6 WHP gain for their exhaust and the cat-back (b-pipe) is due to be released in about a month with something like 2-4 WHP gain. The b-pipe will mostly benefit those with the SC.

exactly. The b-pipe will not show much gains for cars with little to no mods. Comptech does not offer a full cat-back b/c the Type-S already has a very free-flowing exhaust.. and the cost wouldn't be worth the minimal gains.

FYI.. from the dynos I've seen the exhaust will get you about 1-3WHP.....

LOL. No, I enjoyed the exhausts right up until the time I started using the car as a daily driver. I once had an old Corvette with side exhausts. You could here me coming a mile away...but, I didn't have to use it as a daily driver or I might have committed suicide.
