Comptech or Eibach Pro Springs for CLS?

I'm deciding on Comptech Springs or Eibach Pro Kit Springs for my 2001 CLS. I'm going to use the stock shocks as well. So which spring is better? Comptech or Eibach?

Doesn't the Prokit drop it so low that it starts messing with your suspension? What is the deal with that? I mean it looks cool, but as far as preacticality goes, are the Comptechs better?

get COMPTECH you cant go wrong.

The drop is raked, which, according to Mike, is also meant to help protect the car from bottoming out if you have a full load of passangers, or a system, or something.

I love my drop

Don't ever remember hearing a single complaint about the Comptechs that wasn't either about the price of installation or about the looks of the car. Nothing about their performance. Personally the aggressive Comptech look brings a smile to my face and in addition to the steering also feeling much lighter I've never had any problems with the ground beneath the car. The Eibachs, well thats another story since some have registered some problems here and there.

Good Luck
Rob

Comptechs Raked look is awesome. No problems with driveways or curbs. Knock on wood !

I got Eibachs. If it had the raked look like I'd be pissed! Who ever heard of a "RAKED" drop? Most of the cars around here with raked drops are beaters with curb finders.

Yes, I have been honest about alignment problem with prokits, but after second alignment no further problem! Our CL-S is already weight bias in front, raking car with Comptech compounds this weight bias. That and I want car evenly lowered, doesn't look right raked! Pro Kits by Eibach are my first choice. Goodluck!
