Comptech Closing!!
i saw it in the other forums and just knew you cl guys would be obliged to know that comptech is closing shop. they've sited low profits, among other things. you can call them yourselfs and you'll hear the same thing ... however, you won't be able to get through as they have been inundated with calls from dealerships, vendors, and customers. a sad day for honda heads.

Went through the same thing with the various nitch SHO parts companies going outta business. Don't think I ever saw a sale from them. Hope to see one here but I'm not holding my breath. Lots of these kinda things are made to order or made in small production runs so even if they did have some kinda clearance sale you'd see like 5 units at a nice price and everyone would be SOL.

You own the shop or have stocks with Redshift??? you keep pushing their name
last time I checked, they only manufactured turbos and exhaust, and resold other other performance parts that they did not design themselves
say it ain't so.
that's a big MFin hole to fill!

Wow, That's nuts, but then again the place charges 2-4 times what it costs them to make their products.
The CL is dead, the RSX is dead, the TL can't use headers, The RL is a low seller, only a small amount of TL buyers mod their cars.
I don't see how they stayed in business this far.

could it be possible there merging or getting bought out. kinda how like AEM and DC Sports merged. that would be wishful thinking for you guys. but seems like there kinda going into the out of buisness direction.
they will probably get bought out. But really, all you guys will be missing is the SC, everything else is replaceable by another brand, springs, exhasut, headers, etc. No biggy. On a side note, their service and attitude was kinda shady lately, from what I've heard.

I couldn't have said it better.Meh, life goes on.
I won't be surprised if left-over S/C'ers laying around go for a few bucks more once they close the doors. Kind of a sought after sorta thing.
