Comptech axleback, brighten up the tone a bit?

Any advice for me to brighten up my exhaust tone a bit? I have comptech headers, stock b-pipe and CT axleback.

I thought about finding a set of those silencer inserts, but I don't want to put it all the way down to stock sound =/.

Also thought of the b-pipe, but I was told that it will only make the tone deeper (tryin' to get it to go the other way a little)

I was thinking of replaceing the stock resonator with a magnaflow one, or even just having a shop weld an xtra resonator into the b-pipe. Your thoughts all?

Marginal performance loss is not a concern.

thx

The quiet inserts will eliminate the sound almost 100%, You don't want that.
The B pipe isn't made any longer so you'd have to search 1 out or go custom.
Replacing the stock resonator or taking it out may add noise good or bad. Seems each person that tries it gets different results.

Has anyone actually done this? I want to replace the stock resonator with a magnaflow one but I would like to hear of the results first.

dont believe it one bit. there was a vid posted not too long ago of a guy who just had mufflers on his car and then put in a test pipe in his garage.

Sounded louder.

Oh and to back this up a bit, not too long ago, at a meet, I met a guy who had a CLS just like mine. He had Comptech headers, stock cat, no resonator, and Comptech mufflers. Pretty much the same setup as mine however I dont have a cat... Long story short, mine had a louder yet slightly deeper tone to it.
