Comptech Air Filter

Before you flame, I did a search!!! Now my question:

Not to be stupid, but how does the air filter go in??? I mean, does the red part go down or the yellow part go down?? I did not get instructions with mine and I checked comptech's web site already. I am guessing that the red goes toward the bottom of the car. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!! THANKS.

It can fit in both ways. It is a perfect rectangle and has the same amount of space on both sides as far as the rubber gasket is concerned. I did not see anything that look like it would not fit one way or another. I still await the answer. There has got to be at least one other person who has this.

Red down, yellow up, this the way we like to ....

Uh anyway...

Yeah I have one and it's been great. (Thanks JZ!)
Remove your stock resonator - replace it with a length of 3" tubing and clamp some large mesh over the end to keep large items out and you have a ghetto CAI like me.
