Comparison of 6000K HID lights and 7000K HID lights.

Well, I finally got my 7000K HID lights installed with the help of Dustbuster4, the resident First Gen Guru. Here is a comparison photo of our cars side by side, my car is on the left, Dustbuster4 is on the right. I think I have the bluer tint in the lights, it was really more noticeable in person.

They both look awesome to me!

I'll just keep my stock HIDs though.

NOPE!!!!!

As I was driving tonight with them on, I was getting all kinds of looks. The ricers was like checking me out, the older people in cars were like 'damn they are bright' and the BMW guy just looked at me funny - thats the result I wanted with my 7000K lights.

I like the 6000K, but I wanted to be a little different, the 7000K suits me just fine. I love the blue tint they have, and man are they powerful! You guys who have them, they make a big difference! My little PIAA Xtreme Whites look a dull yellow next to them. Thanks guys, I just am one happy camper. I'll try to take a better picture once the lights burn in and take their natural color.

Your 7000k seem blue as hell.... is it jus me though or do the 6000k seem to have stronger light output?

By the way, would you consider 8000k or 9000k next

the 6000k ought to have a stronger light output. Once you pass over 6000k you basically lose the amount of light strength you are putting out....basically you go for more looks after 6000k.

somewhere around 4300K I think....
other OEM's are that too, but only appear bluer because of the projection lighting.
