collision damage & warranty

As I posted before, I was involved in an accident. total damage is around $8K, body shop is restoring it. I still have my original warranty left for another 6 month, I was wondering if the dealership can deny warranty because of the accident?
The body shop is supposed to restore everything back to original OEM specifications and using OEM parts only.
I have not seen my car yet, but I went to this body shop because a lot of people recommended it, it supposed to do a nice job making your car look like new. Assuming they do a good job, will I still get my Acura warranty??

but I wonder if the dealership can say something like "we are not covering this because we see there was some body work done, and its possible it got damaged in accident."
Does it mean that the body shop is supposed to fix it? I mean, if the body shop is promissing to restore eveything back to the way it was, then I should have the warranty again?

Did my resale value go down a lot because of accident? anyway, i am keeping my ride forever... so don't realy care about that.

the worst part is that the impact was into front, and things got shifted around engine (engine seems to be untouched).. Does it mean that now the dealership can blame the accident for any problem I might develop under the hood?? like transmission, lets say my transmission goes bad in 2 years, can they blame it on the accident??

Hope you chose the dealership to do the repairs on the damage... Then they cannot point fingers at anyone else.

If I ever had front end damage I'd sell my car immediately. Its just too unpredictable as to what dealerships will do or how the car will react to such a collision.

In my area there are no Acura dealerships that do the body work. in fact my Acura dealership recommended me some other place, that is not related to Acura. I think they have to have a proof that certain part failed because of collision.

Sell my car? LOL, that would be stupid in my situation. I'd take a big hit, especially if someone finds something in a car fax.
