Graduated from Hofstra in 98 (Psychology)- spent 1 year at Ithaca college (I looked forward to my trips to the Supermarket)- thats how boring it is there.

At Hofstra once again, half done with my MBA in Finance- "may" go JD/MBA...

Lots of Drama at Hofstra lately (people getting killed wise).

Between my friends, brother, and the people on this board (other boards)....whats up with the computers, spooky- I feel like nobody does anything else for a living (being sarcastic of course).

I'm currently in sales- I'll leave it at that.

Hey nice to see a few docs in training here.
I think I counted 3 med students,2 M.D.'s in their residency and myself(POST-residency!). Don't get frustrated with everybody else out there that's already making a good living, aka information technology people.
Expect a few things:
Life will be sressful, even after all your training.
Med school=INTENSE,Residency=INdentured servant
Post residency=6+ figure salary-ranges wildly depending on your specialty and community vs private practice. Can start enjoying your life again.BUT DON't expect the BIG money to come until later in life.At times you will still dislike/hate your job, but other times it will make you feel wonderful-saving someone's life(small ex.)
well myself:
UT Austin BA
UTMB M.D. (remember those BLACK MONDAYS SMEG)
UTHouston Psychiatry
Post-residency-practice in Austin

Yeah, it was pretty difficult. The 2nd level test is now 1/2 essay and 1/2 multiple choice. This is the first year that it isn't 100% essay. I thought that would make it easier. But frankly, I found the essay portion to be easier than the multiple choice. I hope to hell I passed that damn test because I sure don't want to have to take it again!

Are you planning on taking it?
