Well, this was a shitty run. Best part is, we got it on video. Anyways, we linned up and took off at the count of 3. When we went at it, I hit the rev limiter 4 times in 1st gear! You'll see it in the video. I thought it would grab and the rpms would drop and then go back up but it never did. That's why I hit the rev limiter 4 times. So anyways, here's the run broken down;

1st gear he was ahead because I had no traction and hit the rev limiter 4 times.
2nd gear I had no traction and pulled on him slowly spinning all the way to redline.
3rd gear I had him by 5-6 cars by the end of the gear.

I have it on video but wont be able to post it till I get off work. It was pretty hilarious. The first time I had encountered the fella, was on my way up the street. He had punched it while he was in front of me, and I gunned it in 2nd gear at around 20mph and pulled instantly and flew past him. That's when we pulled over and decided to run and get it on video. Well, I'll try and get a better video later on...

 

Btw, he had basic bolts ons just like my friend in his Evo.

those SR20DET are no joke if tuned right, and are cheap too. One of my boys has a shop and builds them

no other engines compare

 

cls with i/h/p will run with a really basic sr20det.
