A guy I used to work with had a '98 Cobra that had a Vortech. He normally didn't drive it to work but did one day and gave me a ride in it. He started out driving normally but then floored it at one point while I was looking over talking to him. I couldn't even lift my head to look forward because of the g-forces. It was insanely fast.
He had a 4.10 rear-end whereas you've got a 4.30, plus I don't even think his was a S-Trim so yours is going to be even more of a beast. I agree with the others- you'd better start buying tires in bulk!

You need plastic seat covers, because when you installl it and punch it, you will shoot either jizz all over the seat, or stain them badly.
I will wait for the time slip, I know you are good for it!

Anywho...for a street DOHC Cobra such as mine, there are 3 options from Vortech:
S-Trim - The blower that comes standard on GT kits and the aftercooled Cobra kits
SC- Trim - The blower that comes standard on non-aftercooled DOHC kits. The SC-Trim has a less aggressive impeller to bring the boost on later and peak out at 7000 rpm (9psi) Identical to the S-Trim in the compressor housing, volute, etc.
T-Trim - A serious piece for 500-600+ motors.
My S-Trim has the more aggresive impeller to compensate for the slight decrease from theaftercooler.

I am going with 42#ers and no FMU (don't need any bandaids on my ride), a Walbro 255 intank and the T-Tex if needed. Tune is still up in the air right now, eitheran Autologic chip or an EEC tuner that I can tweak on the fly. Either way, I'll be going with a mild (dare I say "safe" ) tune. At the track, I won't be going all out after the extra tenths by running 104 with aggressive timing or anything, though I'll throw some ice in the cooler.

I ran the A-trim with the 10lb pulley & 6 rib and it slipped like a mofo...so I switched to the 8 rib. The Walbro in tank should be safe. What is the stock injector size on the Cobra?

Stock is 24#.
I sure hope the Walbro gets it done, I'd rather not use that noisy T-Rex...
