Coast to Coast Car Transport
Hey guys, just wondering if anybody knows or has transported their car from coast to coast. My friend needs to get her car transported from Boston to Frisco. If anybody knows a hookup and the estimate rate that'd be awesome.
Thanks,
ST

Where is my super sauce?
Do a search, I think this was covered a few months ago.
I used www.caronatruck.com and it was about $900 (I think) for transport from LA -> Philadelphia a couple years ago.
What I learned was that most companies are really just brokers and the same truck/driver carries multiple cars that were brokered from multiple carriers. This is true even if the website says different (caronatruck said they're not a broker -- I asked the driver and he said they're all brokered).
My car came here safely, but was a week or so overdue. The make drop-offs at their leisure and the driver chooses his own route for travel so you may not be the first or last car dropped off.

so you car was transported safely without a single scratch right?
And how long did the transport take for your case?

No scratches. It was quite dirty after its 2+ week trip, but not damaged at all. It was transported in an open carrier, not a closed one. When I was shopping around, I couldn't find a closed one for a reasonalbe price.
They are insured too.

I remember I got four or five quotes and they were all pretty close. Caronatruck seemed reliable and they beat the other quotes by about $1, if I remember correctly.
Do a google search on car or automobile + transport and you'll find a number of sites. They'll all give you a free quote.

Got my CL-S transferred from Tallahassee to St. Louis in an enclosed truck for around $900 or so. Unfortunately, they put two dents, one in the passenger side door and the rear right quarter panel. They didn't put up any fight and sent me a check for $1300. Got it all fixed for nothing except my time.
