We just hear stuff from time to time. One customer here has a car that is undrivable. It might be due to other issues but still I think there is room for more than one clutch option.

I don't see how a flywheel and a pulley would have issues with eachother. They are completely separate parts. Could you elaborate?

I agree, having more then one option would be excellent. It may even lead to some competetiveness that could drive prices down

There were threads from awhile back about the CT clutch and underdrive pulleys not playing nicely with each other.

I'm not buying that dude....the effect of taking too much dampening off the crank might produce excess bearing wear (maybe drop 20-30% of life of a motor that with theoretically go forever if well maintained), but there is certainly no way in my mind this would cause damage to the clutch. It's a little absurd to be honest.

Absurd or not, are you planning on running the stock pressure plate (please say no)?

I would buy an aftermarket clutch kit today if I knew it would hold the power on a boosted CL.

i think what we need is a clutch disc. the actual disc is all thats poorly designed in our trannys.

a good ceramic disc will be cheap, increase shift grab, and prevent slipping and premature wear.

Yeah and it is harder to drive smooth as well...The self adjusting pressure plate used does not have enough clamping force from what I can tell.

^ Thats my beef as well. Ill take a firmer pedal if it gives me more clamping pressure. I actually like when the clutch requires some muscle.

Assuming my clutch went out on me last night!!!

I'm able to put it in gear, however when I let off the clutch pedal I get a grinding noise, and I refused to drive it, called a tow truck immediately!!

I'm praying that it isn't the transmission!!!

I need this asap.....will make payments!!!!

but i really think this a great void to FILL and FEEL
Especially if the product really delievrs what it promises.

My guess is SB got to take the risk and invest in this and let us be the ones to recommend you.

a prototype , a test car and some R & D but i am sure no one wants to just poof out $1400. If this ever comes to light I am sure ppl will buy it
