I'm sure one of the forum sponsors will chime in and suggest their own site but I've never seen a single one of them be the lowest price for any item.

Our pricing may not be the absolute lowest, but we make sure we provide great customer service and fast shipping. We also price match most reputable vendors if you find a better price. Our pricing on that combo right now is $1,695 not including shipping.

^Holy shit $600 difference.

Be careful with the CM clutch and flywheel, people have had problems with it.

I tried to research any issues with the CM clutch and flywheel and didn't find any. I've been running Josh's FX250 kit for two years now and love it, clamps like vise grips.

I remember a guy posting about a CM kit and how it would be in limp mode. Apparently the flywheel had the wrong number of teeth or something? Not sure of the details, but he was hella pissed.

But a new kit should work out. If it doesn't, I'm sure CM will take care of it.

There certainly have been issues with non-stock cluthes in the past. Can't recall all of them but there has been a lot of discussion around them here in the past.

That may have been in the past and the company may have heard the complaints and upgraded but I had no problems. My clutch had about 110,000 and still good but I just wanted to upgrade. Before brake-in it felt like an old muscle car 4speed but after about 1000 miles or so the pedal feels slightly stiffer. But IMO the transmission engages firmer. Got only about 15,000 miles on it.

Take some pics if you can. I've never done a FWD clutch. I haven't noticed any slippage but sometimes the clutch seems more like an on/off switch. I'm not sure if thats peculiar to my car or if it's a CLS thing. Kind of reminds me of an FC Mazda clutch.
