194 or 74.......can't remember but i think i shaved down the 194s to fit. the plastic plug end can be ground down to make a tight fit. i'm still looking to confirm it.

ok i am positive it is the 74s. these are the LEDs that are in my picture.

the huge silver bulbs were the 194s that i shaved down to fit.

that pic is a #74 bulb?

Outfitted with the latest Super High-Flux low profile Leds

Designed especially for gauges, and applications requiring a large uniform field of bright light

#74 too small?.....#194 too big?.....This is your bulb:

#24 Only(T6-1/2, T2-1/4) bulbs are 3/4" (17mm) x 5/16 (6.5mm)" diameter

That defuser that u are talking about is that the same as the shifter.

The reason I ask is I tryed to sand it and It didnt make it clearer I just erased the whole thing so I ended up taking it all off and repainting sort of.

Is that going to happen with the gauges??

yep the same thing will happen if you SAND it. if you use acetone and many Q tips you will get the results you want. it will still be cloudy as you see in the pics but will let the light color pass through.

well they give you the same kind i purchased. i believe the film has a lot to do with light distribution. did you remove the film on the backs of the gauges as discussed above? just trying to figure out how you didn't end up with hot spots.

-thanks

Nope, just popped them in and went. There is a slight, and I mean VERY slight area at the top of the speedo where it's slightly dim. Barely noticeable though.

Hehehehehe. I sent them an email. They do red for the Accord, and since the Accord is damn near the same they decided to give it a try on my car. I need to send them some pictures of it so they can decide if they want to sell them in red.
