clunking noise

My build date is 3/01 and I have only racked up 37K miles, escaped any and all tranny problems and no other worries so far.
Now, though, whenever I accelerate from a stop, the car makes this clunking noise that seems to come from the undercarriage at the front wheel area. I have no clue what it is but it sounds like something is loose, almost like something settles into a groove as the car begins to move. It is neither loud nor does it impair the car in any other way that I can tell. As the driver for over three years, though, I know what sounds are normal and which ones are not. Anyone know what this could be or is it time to get the dealer involved to diagnose it?

it might be bad or broken axle boots. Lift up the front of the car, take the tires off and inspect if u don't feel like taking it to the dealer. It might be motor mounts, but not a high chance of those going bad so soon.

Well, got the car to the shop on Monday--and it was motor mounts. One had broken which causes the clunk at acceleration plus a rough idle and engine start.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Some great gearheads on this forum.
