I had the same prob w my comptech sways. It turned out the bolts on the bushings weren't torqued enuf! I got the dealer to check them when they installed the icebox and they tightened them and no more clunking noise...the noise was kindof scary cause u don't know if you're damaging the car!

Thanks civic4982, I'll try torquing them tighter when I have a chance to put the car up on the rack. For the mean time, I guess I'll take it easy until Friday, I mean how much damage can I do?

i think its 28 all around except the front bushings may be 29. I did a search last week when my bar was making the clunking noise...everyone seems to agree on 28 lb-ft, but i saw that 29 lb-ft for the front bushings in one of the posts.

So I hope it is the low torque of the ball links because my noise is still prevalent. I haven't been able to get the car up on a hoist yet. Thanks gurot1.

Thanks man. The funny thing is, I put them on with an impact and then was hanging from the wrench..
