CLS6 vs STI

CLS6 vs STI
I was about to get on the highway last night (20E towards dallas) in arlington, as i noticed this clean STI in front of me, we both looked over at each other.
As we were getting on the on-ramp we both punched it from ~ 20-30 mph (i was in 2nd) not sure what gear he was in, but he pulled and instant car till I redlined 2nd and stopped his pull slammed it in 3rd took it to about 6-7k and was on his back bumper... but i had to slow down to let him over cause he needed to merge (he was in the right lane) to get onto the highway...
Buut the good news is my friend just got a STI so tomorrow i will be getting a couple runs in with him to get a better estimate on how i do against the STI... considering 30mph punch in 2nd isnt the greatest part of my powerband
My mods include- i/h/tb spacer/ comptech mufflers
Sti's mods - looked stock
Has anyone else on these boards ran an STI? Are my results normal, bad, good?
I was looking up some of the STI's trap speeds and its anywhere from 98-103

30mph in 2nd is actually pretty strong. With your mods and being a 6spd, you shouldn't have a problem walking away from a stock/lightly modded STI on the highway. It's the races from a dig that you want to stay away from.

I was completely stock and would walk my buddys reg wrx from a roll every time! The digs are what get ya. I could never beat him in an 1/8th, but was pretty confident about the 1/4 even though we never got to race the 1/4. But with your mods...mainly the headers you shouldn't have too tough of a time with the AWD!
